Rose Mumbua

Kayole Starlets can confirm that Rose Mumbua, our talented midfielder, has completed a move to Gaspo Women FC.

Mumbua joined us in 2023 from Thika Queens and has spent the past two seasons as an integral part of our squad. Throughout her time with us, she displayed exceptional professionalism and quickly became a respected teammate and a fans’ favourite.

She collected a WNSL Championship winners’ medal earlier this year and delivered one of her standout performances in the 2024 FKF Promotion Playoffs against Kisped Queens, where her creativity and composure in midfield shone through.

Recently, Mumbua earned a call-up to the Kenya Women’s National Team for the 2025 Homeless World Cup in Oslo, Norway, where she scored an outstanding 19 goals, helping the team secure a second runners-up finish.

Known for her elegance, vision, ball control, and excellent link-up play, Mumbua leaves Kayole Starlets with our deepest respect and admiration.

“Rose has been a joy to watch and a true professional to work with. Her talent and determination have been vital to our success, and I have no doubt she will continue to shine at Gaspo Women FC and beyond. We are proud to have been part of her journey,” Eric Jackson, Commercial Director, Kayole Starlets.

Everyone at Kayole Starlets thanks Rose for her contribution to the club and wishes her every success in the next chapter of her career with Gaspo Women FC.
