Kayole Starlets’ rising talent Frida Parlomah continues to demonstrate her all-round athletic ability after representing Donholm School at the National Junior Schools Term 1 Athletics Championships held at Maseno School in Kisumu County from 5th to 11th April.

Frida competed in the 200m and the 4x100m relay, showcasing her speed, discipline, and competitive spirit on one of the biggest school athletics stages in the country. Going up against some of the top young athletes from across Kenya, she embraced the challenge and delivered strong performances that reflected both her talent and growing experience.

While many know Frida for her contributions on the football pitch, athletics has long been a key part of her sporting journey. Her background in sprinting has played a crucial role in shaping her as a dynamic footballer; giving her explosive pace, sharp acceleration, and endurance that set her apart in matches.

Her ability to balance both athletics and football highlights her versatility and commitment to excellence. The discipline required in track events, from technique to mental focus, continues to influence her development as a well-rounded athlete.

Competing at the national level provided Frida with valuable exposure and also strengthened her confidence as she continues to grow in both sports. Experiences like these are instrumental in building the mindset needed to perform under pressure and against elite competition.

As she returns to club duties with Kayole Starlets, Frida brings back lessons, resilience, and an even stronger drive to improve. Her journey is a testament to the power of multi-sport development and the bright future ahead for one of the club’s most promising young talents.
