WHY FEBRUARY?

Due to irregular fixtures and unavoidable circumstances, our February Player of the Month poll was not conducted at the time. However, the team showed great resilience during the period and we now take a moment to recognize the standout performers.

Heading into February, the team was on a difficult run of five matches without a win. Despite that, the squad responded strongly, playing four matches, securing three wins, and suffering just one defeat to push back into contention in the league.

Several players stepped up with crucial performances:

1. Lindah Kihara (STRIKER)

Lindah led from the front with an impressive return of 3 goals (a goal against Kisumu All Starlets, Bungoma Queens and Kisped Queens) playing a key role in turning around the team’s fortunes. Her attacking presence and consistency made her one of the standout performers of the month. The goals brought her total tally for the season to 10 goals

2. Mercy Mang’uro (MIDFIELDER)

Mercy delivered when it mattered, scoring 1 goal and earning Player of the Match honors against Kisumu Starlets. Her impact in key moments proved vital for the team.

3. Magneta Ocharo (WINGER)

Magneta combined creativity and composure, registering 1 goal and a Player of the Match performance against Bungoma Queens. She was instrumental in driving the team forward.

4. Naliaka Faith (WINGER)

A complete display from Naliaka, contributing 1 goal, 2 assists, and earning Player of the Match against Kisped Queens. Her all-round performance was crucial in controlling games and creating chances.

5. Drailer Salome (DEFENDER)

Salome showed her versatility with 1 goal (A Goal Of The Season Contender against Kibera Soccer) and 1 assist, consistently contributing in attack and supporting the team’s defensive play.
