Coach Kimani’s side turn their attention to Ulinzi Starlets as the two sides prepare to renew their rivalry in the FKF Women’s Premier League. For Kayole, this fixture presents another opportunity to test themselves against a familiar opponent and build momentum as the league campaign progresses. With both sides coming into the encounter on the back of different results, Kayole will be eager to put in a strong performance and secure a positive outcome. Both sides are still unbeaten in the league and none is yet to face a defeat as we head into Matchweek 4
PREVIOUS GAMES
Kayole Starlets head into this fixture following a 1-1 draw against derby rivals Mathare Women United. They will be looking to turn that point into a winning result as they return to action against Ulinzi. Meanwhile, Ulinzi Starlets arrive in confident form after recording a convincing 6-1 victory over Kibera Soccer Women. That result underlines the attacking threat Kayole will need to manage, making defensive organisation and taking chances at the other end particularly important.
PAST MEETINGS
The last meeting between the two sides came in November 2025, when Kayole Starlets claimed a thrilling 3-2 away victory over Ulinzi Starlets. Mercy Mang’uro and Magneta Ocharo found the net before Lindah Kihara struck a dramatic last-minute winner to seal all three points for Kayole. The return fixture did not take place, meaning this upcoming encounter will be only the second meeting between the two sides since Kayole’s return to the league. Kayole will be hoping to draw inspiration from that memorable away win as they look to complete another positive outing against the soldiers.
WHAT’S AT STAKE
With valuable league points up for grabs, Kayole Starlets have an opportunity to respond to their draw against Mathare and get back to winning ways. Having already beaten Ulinzi away from home, Kayole know they have what it takes to get a result. The challenge now is to deliver another performance worthy of three points.
